Barrel Turn Tee Drill | RBI Academy Hitting Drill

YouTube video

Coach Tino delves into a key baseball hitting drill called Barrel Turn Tee Drill. This drill focuses on the seamless transition of your hands from the ready position to your impact position of where you hit the ball.

To properly execute this drill, it’s essential for you be set up and think about moving your back elbow in and to it all the way to get onto a plane where you can hit the ball. This way, you will be able to hit a ball all way through the zone.

This will help you generate powerful hits wherever the ball is in the zone, and hit to all parts of the field.

Tino then shows an example of how this drill is done.
