Coach Tino goes through a Catching & Blocking Stance.

Coach Tino breaks down the initial steps for assuming a blocking position.

How to Get into a Blocking Position

Begin by spreading your legs as wide as possible. Follow this by positioning your glove downward, covering the space between your legs, and position your throwing hand behind the glove.

Create a half-moon shape with your upper body to maintain a natural stance. This allows you to keep your body straight, ensuring the ball stays in front of you. Keep your movements relaxed and supple, allowing for quick response and effective ball control.

Ensure your chin is tucked into your upper chest, keeping your head down. This position allows you to maintain focus on the ball and ensures your head stays in the right posture throughout.
