MVP Face Shield

The MVP Face Shield is designed specifically for the MVP Adjustable Batting Helmet and attaches directly to its pre-drilled mounting points — no modifications, no adapters, no guesswork. The wire cage construction provides solid face protection while maintaining clear sightlines so batters can track the ball without obstruction.

Wire cage face shields are required or strongly recommended in many junior competition formats in NSW, and a lot of coaches prefer them for younger players regardless of league rules. If you’re unsure whether your competition requires one, check with your club or association before game day.

The MVP Face Shield suits the gloss and matte versions of the MVP Adjustable Batting Helmet. It is not compatible with other helmet brands or models.

If you’ve bought the MVP Adjustable Batting Helmet and your league requires a face cage, this is the one to get. It’s built specifically for that helmet so it sits flush, doesn’t wobble, and takes about a minute to attach.

We recommend face cages for all junior players regardless of whether their competition mandates them. Kids are still developing their plate discipline and having that protection in place builds confidence at the bat, especially for newer players who are learning not to flinch.
